When did you first become an author? What's your favorite thing to write about? How many books have you written--were they all about animals?

Hi Gerry, my first book, called The Bone Detective, was published in 1996 and was about solving crimes using forensics. My next book was about solving wildlife crimes. So I guess I started out writing books about crimes and moved on from there! I've also written about Bugs, Twins, Faces and Hero Dogs. Basically, I love to write about all sorts of real things -- especially if they involve science. So far, I've had 7 books published and have 4 more in the works.
