Hi Alice, welcome to Henry's Book Club. As Joanne mentioned Shiloh author Phyllis Naylor Reynolds is the recepient of the ASPCA Roger Caras Achievement Award and will be honored at this years book award ceremony in Anaheim, CA. We have temporarily removed the Shiloh group from the forum. We already have chosen the books from the list of ASPCA Henry Bergh Children's Book Award winners that we will feature for the next few months. Hello Alicia, welcome to H enry's Book Club. We too love Shiloh, in fact, Phyllis Naylor will be the recipient of the Roger Caras Award a lifetime achievement award of the Henry Bergh Children's Book Awards. We honor one outstanding author each year with this award! Please read our other recommened books, t his month it's Our Secret: Siri Aaang, a FABULOUS story about a young girl in Africa who saves a Rhino, as well as facing her own ritualistic entry into womanhood. Oprah Puppy Mill Show

Hello everyone! I had just gotten finished watching the 2nd Puppy Mill episode on Oprah. I was very shocked and just absolutely HORRIFIED at how these animals in puppy mills are treated.
