No, no difference between the red colobus monkey and Miss Waldron's
monkey. The animal was so named because Miss Waldron was the
first to identify the species. My favorite animal in the book is the
Passenger Pigeon, probably because its demise was so tragically
rapid. It's alarming to know how quickly Americans killed off this species which numbered in the billios.
